What an exciting week it’s been! First, despite our ongoing battle with rain, we managed to hit our 30 summits mark. Then, we finally created a Facebook page for ourselves, and the response so far has been pretty positive. The page is called The Adventures of Buffalo and Tough Cookie. If you have a Facebook account, you can reach us easily, just click the link in the right hand column of this page, or click this: Our Facebook Page
Our plan for this three-day weekend is ambitious, but as of this moment we may have to scale things down. That’s right, more rain! Meena will be joining us on Sunday and we hoped to do an overnight up on Stairs Mountain and tackle four summits in two days. (Crawford, Stairs, Resolution and Parker) But, we’ll see if that actually happens. We want to get five this weekend, but rain or not, we’ll tag at least three and that will bring our number down to the teens!
So, we march on! Speaking of marching on, I shot a short video on the way down from North Doublehead last weekend and wanted to share that with our fans. There’s no sweeping vista, no grand views. Instead, as we headed down the mountain it occurred to me how strong Janelle has become over the last few months. And what better way to illustrate that than to let you see for yourself how sure-footed and fast she can now move.
The sound in the background is the pouring rain. The reason for the shaky image is because I have to really hustle to keep up! If you can’t open this link as a video, try us on Facebook as I’ll post it there as well. If you’re not on Facebook, just email me and I’ll send you a copy.

Thanks for your continued support, and we’ll see you next Tuesday!
