A new, amazing adventure with Willem Lange!

wttw_leadcard_454x255_1.380x212.jpg.fit.480x270Big news this morning friends, really big!

Janelle and I have the very large honor of being selected to be in an episode of Windows to the Wild with one of my hiking heroes Willem Lange! We are so excited and just a little bit star struck. (Well, I am anyway.)

For those of you with New England connections, you likely don’t need any introduction to Willem. For those from outside the region, Willem is a long time adventurer, hiker, writer and generally amazing outdoor celebrity who has a weekly show on New Hampshire Public Television. He’s sort of like our own Garrison Keillor.

The details aren’t yet fully arranged, but we’ll be filming a hike with him in June. I’ll be sure to share more information when I get it, but Janelle and I can’t believe that the production crew and Willem wants to hike with us. And, I’m so proud of how far Janelle has come, and how strong she’s become. I wonder if Willem will be able to keep up with her! I know that I better get to the gym soon or the two of them are going to leave me dragging behind.

If you have not yet watched an episode, take the time to give it a look: Windows to the Wild

Also, here in our own backyard we’ll be at the Auburn Library on Monday May 12 at 6:30. I was thrilled to have received a wonderful review by the library’s librarian. You can read that here: Auburn Library Review

It’s an exciting time for us friends, and this is going to be a great summer! We very much hope to see you on the road or on the trail!

Dan and Janelle
